Do I have to replace springs or can I just replace shocks?

In all my years wrenching on cars, it was always understood that springs will outlast the vehicle. But now I find myself in Discoland where it seems like its common knowledge that springs need replacing without question. The shocks on the disco absolutely need replacing, they're 100% shot at 160,000 miles and driving it feels like riding a yacht along the sea. However, being that I intend to keep this thing in it's stock form, is it really necessary to replace the springs too?

The original springs can sag over time. If you want a like new ride it’s a good idea to replace both.

New shocks on old saggy springs can prematurely wear out your new shocks as they are taking more of the load.

What would you guys recommend for a stock ride? TF makes several models but doesn't seem too clear which is the right one. Medium load?

For a stock ride I would go with the Allmakes springs and TF shocks.
