Door lock/actuator ??? Door key won't turn cylinder
I put the key into the outer door lock and is does not budge once it
It placed in cylinder/outer door lock. Do I need to replace the actuator or something else? The door will lock from the inside of the car and will lock when I press the door Lock mechanism in the dashboard area. This is the drivers side door lock. Thanks! Can anyone recommend a good place to find a repalcement Lock/actuator if that is the case? Thanks! |
Sounds like you need a door lock pin.
Some guys on dweb have dabbed them using a large nail. Can't remember what size though. Check out discoweb. |

Not exactly what you were looking for, but should help:
2004 - Door Actuator - Land Rover Forums : Land Rover and Range Rover Forum Take the broken pin to the hardware store and match up a nail that has the same circumference. Then modify it to match the broken pin. Or, Dish out $85 for the Cadillac of door pins: http://www.jewellamberoil.com/sales/...roducts_id=297 |
