Driver Side Rear Door Lock
 

The driver side rear door lock is not working. I noticed that when I locked the doors the locking mechanism didn't go down. I manually pushed it down, but when I tried to manually unlock it by pulling up on the mechanism, it immediately went back down. Any ideas on how to get this door open? If I have to take the panel off, it seems almost impossible if I can't get the door open. Thanks in advance.

Push the button on the dash while trying to pull it up, then replace the door lock assembly.
