Default Erratic Gauges

This may have been covered before but I am new to the world of Discovery. I have purchased a rather nice 96 Discovery that has had it share of electrical Gremlins which I have cured except one. I have Intermittent Gauges, all of them Speedo, Tach, Fuel and Water Temp. Also some start ups I have warning lights other times I do not. Any suggestions on where to look to cure this problem?

Thanks for the suggestion Mike,I will look into that. They work for a while then suddenly stop and start again. I was wondering if it could be a bad connection or ground on the fuse block mounted on the right front inner fender, or am I way off in that the gauges are not affected by this fuse block?
