Default Engine Code?

I managed to track down some Magnacore wires over here - Great!

160 AUD - not as bad as what I thought. (140 USD)

But they want:
  • year OK
  • model OK
  • chassis model
  • engine code
I'm guessing the "chassis model" is VIN Number?

I'm at a loss as to the engine code or where to find it.

help!

make sure you get only lucas rotors, otherwise they will run like crap.

I am assuming the truck is running like crap with all the rain the area has been getting.

If you have a 94 it is different. I show 80196 as the part number for the 8MM. The part number listed above is for 7MM on a 96 & up distributorless ignition

PS, not sure if they will ship to you, but they are $74 here..

Not changing the rotor for now.
The truck is running great - compared to recent history! just using enough fuel for two.
The existing leads are cheap & nasty and the plug covers are cracked.

no they won't ship to Australia.

I was just after the info they asked for, I'll let them work out the part number, thanks.

Does anyone know what the engine code is or where I can find it?
