Extended seat rail for Disco II?

Did some research and could only find the extended seat rails for the Defender.

Does anybody know of a similar solution for the Discos? I'm tall and if I could gain 2 or 3 inches on would be awesome!

Let me know what you know! :)

There was a good write up on the LRRF by someone who wanted to slide his seat back further, maybe 2 years ago, might do a search.

Did you follow the instructions from the article posted above?

Yes I did, although, If i did it again, I wouldn't have extended it as much. I would have made the holes closer. I don't need an additional 7 3/4 inches, 5" would have been enough, because now the seat is a little too far back when moved all the way up for my wife to drive.

cool, was it hard to do it? does the seat have to be removed or not?

i would like to try this but don't know if i can do it :)

I didnt remove the seat, once you unbolt the motors from the rail, it will slide back and forth.
