Default Feel the burn

I was hoping that I just needed to replace the ABS sensor for the front left wheel, but just got the call saying I also need the shuttle valve kit. Looking back at the service records the shuttle valve kit was replaced in June '04 about 40K miles ago. Tony (Cerrone) was hoping it was just the sensor, but another test with the Rovcom says it the shuttle valve too. Sigh...

Replace the sensor and then wait and see. I'm betting that the shuttle valve is not the problem.

D2G,
If you throw a panic stop at 30MPH plus, can you feel your ABS pulsate thru the brake pedal. if so don't replace the shuttle valve.
Is Frank basing your need for a new valve assembly based on the the code or has it in fact failed?
