Well after looking over the schematic it looks like it is the same as mine. Just the wires coming to the fog lamp are brown and black instead of black and blue/purple. The housing is different but I guess that doesn't matter. To clarify, what happens with the lamps is that if there is a fresh fuse, the drivers side bulb is in, and the passenger side wires are left open (passenger side is the one broken) then the drivers light will come on and stay on without any problems. However, if I attach the passenger side bulb to either wire (brown or black) and then ground the opposing wire to a bolt on the engine, both scenarios spark, blow the fuse shared by both lights, and therefore cause the drivers side to go out. One thing that I was trying to get at last time is that the passenger side doesn't come on at all during the two attempts. The spark is immediate, leading me to believe that the wiring is somehow crossed or that you need the actual OEM connector to make it function properly. Any ideas

Sounds like on the passenger side, if you were to read for voltage to ground, you would see that on both wires. And upstream somewhere from that point the ground is disconnected, and both wires are bridged together. The factory ground spot is supposed to be in the back of the engine compartment, and there is a multipin connector under the dash Pages attached.
