Foglight Switch

Can I use a rear wiper switch as my new foglight switch?, I plan on switching the rear wiper blade switch cover with a foglight switch cover.

I plan on keeping the original rear wiper switch and just getting another rear wiper switch to use as a foglight switch in one of the extra slots I have on my instrument cluster. I want to be able to turn on and off my fog/driving lights independently without having to turn on my driving lights for them to work.

Why not just go to a wrecking yard and buy a used fog light switch and do it right?

Call paul grant he has 100 of them and you will want a cruise control switch as the rest are momentary switches

The rear wiper switch is a standard on/off switch, No?

I think I used a cruise control switch. I do remember I had to ohm out the pins to determine which ones made the switching circuit.

For auxiliary lights or OEM fog lights? You should be able to find one at a local yard or someone selling some parts. If it is for aux lights, I’ve used a cruise control switch I bought used and then got an OEM fog light switch and just swapped the covers.
