Hey everyone. I have a left front axle seal leak in my 2004 D2. I was hoping it was the breather tube, but no clogs. Has anyone ever used BlueDevil or any similar product for a dif leak? I just need something to buy me a couple of weeks until I can do the seal replacement. And probably ball joints, too.

Yeah, ended up being a blown wheel bearing. I replaced the hub, no issues since!

 

how big a deal was it?

 

Mine ended up being a leaky axle seal. Took about 2 hours to replace.
I removed the brake caliper and rotor, then used a screw driver to pop out the bad seal.
To insert the new seal, I used a piece of a ball joint press kit that matched up with the lip of the seal so I could hammer it in without damaging it.
