FYI major service by an independent in Maryland

This is just an FYI about some major service I had done on my '99 DII, with 124,000 miles that I have owned since new. For $2400 I had the head gasket replaced, and they also installed these parts that I had supplied: Bosch ignition wires, two ignition coil packs, Bosch +4 plugs, crank position sensor, four O2 sensors but one required welding work since it could not be removed, belt tensioner and pulley, Testbook to remove SLS since I had replaced bags with coils a few months ago, changed auto trans fluid but they didn't replaced the filter because I snapped a pan bolt and they said it was too difficult (but I the ATF filter was replaced at about 70,000 miles).

This work was done by Rusty at www.hrmotorcars.net, which is southeast of Baltimore near the airport.

I had called Treasured Motors in Owings Mills but they wanted at least $3300 for just the head gasket. It seems their tech has moved to Frankel JLR in Cockeysville, but even though I live 10 minutes away I don't like them -for example their parts prices are at least 2x the prices at the JLR near Columbia, MD.
