Default Right tail light out when headlights on

I have an 03 disco 2. Brake lights work fine when headlights are off. Turning on the headlights, the right tail light is very dim. Pushing the brake with headlights on causes the right tail light to go out completely. All other lights work fine.

Bulbs are ok, I looked at the two grounds in the back, they are fine. Bought a new brake light switch, made no difference.

I checked fuses under the dash, I think the numbers were 11, 25, and 33 - they looked fine.

Any suggestions?

Thx

Just in case anyone searches this topic in the future..... one of the filaments on the brake light wasn't working even though it looked intact. Fixed with a new bulb

I know...embarrassing
