Sounds like a great deal. Hell, l've paid four times that for a pedal bike...lol.

Bought my 01 with known issue, bad trans/y-pipe/front driveshaft for 5 bills...replaced all of those items and changed all fluids/filters (another, 8 bills)...and I've been driving it daily for just about two years now, little over 20K, with only one failed part...right front hub. I've created a couple failed parts, by drowning it in Ohio while wheeling...but that was my fault. I've put some money into it, modifications and such..but that was my doings. Maybe a little over a grand, total (it's much less if my wife is reading this); winch, M/T tires, lift/shocks, rack/lights, etc. In repair costs, the front hub was $140...so l'm nowhere near the 3K a year as suggested. So, if you divide two years into that...l'm at about $70.00 a year so far. Besides oil changes and normal wear items you would have on any vehicle.

Good luck, with your new rig.

Brian.

Lol, not nice to call your wife names

I'm sure that old winch is still pulling you out of trouble you get yourself into.

After getting my rover and building the front bumper...she asked if l was getting a wench? Said, nope, already got one. But, l will be getting a winch. Luckily, all of this conversation happen after dinner was served and eaten.

Like they say...timing is everything...lol.
