Got the heads off and all I got to say is holy crap
Ripping the heads of is a bunch of fun!
First anyone who did this in a parking lot is the man. To break free the head bolts was a task and a half. We used a 30 inch beaker barto get the ones in the rear. The others got rippped out by a Snap-On impact.
Land Rover seems like they went out of their way to make al ot of this a PITA!
So the heads are going out to the machines shop. I've checked all the lifters, none of them are dished. Cylinder 3 was cleaner than the rest, however I did not see any obvious head gasget leak. The machine shop will pressure test them to see if there are any other problems.
Should I pressure test the block just in case? If so where can I rent the tool?
Any advice on the build up?

Yeah the parking lot.
Miss that Parking Lot.
Took me two weeks of slow and easy.
And, in the dark with a trouble light on a car battery with an inverter.
I had to use a piece of Iron Gas pipe to break the bolts lose on
a 1/2" breaker bar and impact 5/8" socket.
You had better get that antifreeze out of the cylinders.
And, get all the antifreeze out of the head bolt holes.
YOU WILL NEED to change your oil ASAP after this.
As is is polluted with antifreeze now.
Just take it slow.
Remember-
When putting the bolts back on
1) light engine lube on the bolts.
2) Some grease under the head of the bolt. Just a little.
3) Paint the bolt with a line across it - across the face to remember how much to do the 90 degree tighten.
4) remember - tighten them all to 15 foot pounds in the pattern - first.
5) Then 90 degrees each in the tightening pattern.
6) Then 90 degrees again in the pattern.
