RE: grease nipples

You have, or should have 4 grease fittings on the front drive shaft, one of the front u-joint, should have 2 on the back side of the front drive shaft where it attaches to the t/case and on on the slip joint where there is currently an allen plug. On the rear shaft you have one grease fitting on the u-joint and should add one to the slip joint where there is now an allen plug.

so just the shafts and u joints, no other joints or axles or anything? That should be pretty easy to manage.

At your mileage, I would suggest you crawl under your truck, and inspect the roto flex that attaches the rear drive shaft to the rear diff, looking for cracks in the rubber between the bolts.

The roto flex is on order. I will handle that project myself. So no other grease fittings that I need to know about?

No, but who are you going to have do the rebuild on the double cardon?

grease-able naepco joints and cv ball kit. I listed the part numbers in another thread. Parts and labor was $216.00. balanced and out the door. thanks for the help. I am on my way out here shortly to pick up the Disco from the shop that did the gasket work. mostly preventative maintenance stuff but it started with the search for the coolant leak.
