Help Me Out Here

I've seen this dealer on Ebay for quite some time and all of the LR's, although nice, are priced VERY high.
I'm curious if anyone is familiar with this dealer or knows wether or not they are actually selling any at these prices?
If you look at their other inventory, for instance, they have a $30k '96 Land Cruiser for sale. Holy schnikies......

I'm somewhat baffled by this and extremely curious if anyone ever successfully sells a D2 at these prices.

The theory that just hit me after looking at their sold history is this -
Its cheap advertising with no Sale Fees - if thats the case, might be a good marketing scheme.....

Well, it is a 15 year old D2 in 5 year old condition, or better. Where else can you get an awesome SUV like new for this small amount of money? Probably always garaged and never off-roaded. I thought $6000 was a lot to ask for one of these...

Ha... thats certainly NOT a small amount of money - at all.
I appreciate everything the D2 is which is why I bought one but knowing what I know now, paying $17k for one with NO engine work and almost 100k miles is just plain crazy.

I can get one from a dealer in ATL for similar or less money with a complete engine rebuild to correct the known issues. Thats insurance to me - low miles is not insurance.

That seller is on crack. If you watch their ebay listings the cars/trucks get relisted a lot.
And even with that being said there will always be a sucker for any car at almost any price.....just give it time.

A FOOL & HIS MONEY will soon BUY a LAND ROVER!

I think this seller is in north jersey. He has many decent LR D2's but always jacks the price up to around 18-20g's. Don't know where he finds them all!! I want his source.....

In that condition i bet he gets close to 15k for it.

Highest price on recent sales is less than $6k https://www.ebay.com/sch/Cars-Trucks...overy+2&_sop=3

id consider paying that much for one with less than 100k, with Lucky8 parts and completely rebuilt engine. Otherwise hell no

Apples to oranges. Ebay is not a good representation of values. Everything sells cheap on eBay as most are bought sight unseen.
