Sorry for hogging the forum guys, I am laid off, have nothing to do and am bored. Nextflix cant ship movies to me fast enough and I am getting tired of HBO.
Hopefully I'll get a job soon and I'll be out of your hair for a few hours a day.

No problem by me. You have a lot of good input. What kind of work are you looking for?

Well I am a delivery driver by trade, I have logged over one million miles in a 26' reefer. But at this point I am looking for almost anything.
Here in MI our un-employment rate is the highest in the nation, 1 in 10 people is un-employed.

Hey you help tons of people with their rovers, hog all the forums you want hehe. I've been looking for jobs too but, right now is a horrible time in the job market and just the overall economy in general. But, good luck with your search and hope you find a good one soon.

Thanks guys.
LRScott, I found out what was wrong with my laptop, it is the power cord, the end that plugs into the computer is bad, broken wire. I bent it over and zip-tied it so it keeps connected.
I looked at the circuit board like you said and it was all good.
But now the "B" and "H" kets dont want ot work, so I took a old keyboard from the basement shelf and plugged into the USB port on the back of the computer, talk about "W"hisky "T"ango, but hey, it works.

Well yes, just like the other 250,000+ people who have left the state so far this year. At the rate they are fleeing Detroit it will be a ghost town by this time next year.
I am divorced and re-married, I have custody of the kids (that is how I lost the '01 Montero that I bought brand new and only had 3 payments to go and it was mine), state law does not allow me to move more than 100 miles away from their mother.
100 miles doesnt even get me out of the state.
So no, I cannot move to a better job market. Thanks for the idea though.

Yes it kinda is. If she gives me permission then I can move away with the courts approval.
She is a nurseing degree (that I paid for, not that I'm bitter or anything)so she has a good job and of course wont let me move, which I can understand. She still wants to see her kids.
