Looking good. I always wonder how people deal with the rain water that runs in, though. Seems like it would pool in the center of the intake manifold or get sensors wet. Probably not your intake though since your louvers are so far to the sides.
Can't wait to see the finished product! |
rain water... THIS!

The "workbench" is the BEST..... LOVE IT! :)

That's ridiculous! I commend you for being the first enthusiast to actually install these on a D2 hood but that is beyond practical; some tasteful cropping/trimming would have a gone a LONG way boss. You only need half that material & im not totally sure about the rain water thing; the engine may see some of it, but not as much as people think. I'm anxious to see how it turns out after the bondo/sanding/paint. Who knows, maybe it won't be that bad after it's all said & done. You will need to do a hella body work if it's going on that badA$$ black D2. BtW, what in Gods name is that thing parked behind your truck??

I've been considering doing hood louvers from Rocky Road, I think they will be a little less ostentatious than yours, but definitely interested in seeing your finished project and hear your feedback.
