How to get this out , d2a td5
Hi a bolt has fallen in where the timing chain runs and is at the bottom , can I get to it by dropping the oil Catch or will I have to take the timing chain cover off as well

Couple of ideas...
1. If you have a magnetizer then find a small diameter, bendable steel rod, magnetize the end and go fishing. 2. Find small diameter tubing that can reach the hardware and attach it to your shop vac with duct tape and the suction should be able to grab the bolt. |
Mate i didn't even think of a vacuum ! I've just epoxied a magnet to a clothes hanger wire and will see how i go , but the vac will be the next idea
