How hard to re-do brakes
Forgive me if this sounds naive, I'm asking on behalf of my husband. He has a series LR and has done most of the work on it himself. I'm wondering how difficult it would be for him to do the brakes on my 04 discovery. We have the rave manual downloaded. Any input is appreciated.
Thanks, Maggie

Nope.
My truck came with brand new pads and rotors from the dealer already installed and with less than 5,000 miles on them.
And when it is time for new pads I will not need rotors, mine are not warped or grooved or rusted like the Titanic or anything.
However I do know how much more difficult it is to do DI rotors than DII rotors, but that is not the issue here.
Her question was about DII brakes not DI, so why you have to try and bring me down in this one is beyond me.
Maybe I should have been more clear for you, when replacing brake pads on a disc brake system it is all the same.
But replacing rotors is different for each vehicle.
Is that better?
