Just took my headliner down and replacing the fabric.

Just did this job, using roll on blitz primer and satin acrylic enamel exterior paint. Came out pretty well, but watch the remove and reinstall to prevent crimps in the material. Also a good time to fix leaks, I sealed the roof racks.

Getting ready to do my headliner, my truck is black interior, grey exterior and grey headliner. I can't see the pictures and I know this is a very old thread but if anyone has them please send them my way (northeastdoor@gmail.com) or PM and let me know how to get them. I don't have a issue taking my engine out but headliner in certainly foreign to me. Thanks...

I just did this tonight. It's really not that hard. I believe the only tools I used were phillips and flat screwdrivers, 8 and 6mm sockets, a pick and some trim removal tools for the trim in the trunk area.
Took about an hour, including vacuuming up all the junk that fell down from the headliner board.
Going to measure it tomorrow and get some headliner fabric.
By the way, not sure if it was mentioned, but you may want to wear long sleeves and safety glasses. I got a little bit of fiberglass on my arms. Wore my glasses, though.

Bumpity bump.......can someone tell the how to get the pictures at the begin of the thread please.

The links for all of the pictures are no longer valid. I may take some pictures this weekend when I reinstall everything, but it really is very straight-forward.

no matter how straight forward it is, I go by the old quote: "pics or it didn't happen" - Henry VIII

hehehe

but yeah, I also want to get around to do this on mine eventually. Thanks

Yea, the guy that did this write up has long moved on to greener pastures..

No, he's not dead, just drives a RRC and started his own forum
