Im about ready to push it in the river!

My nightmare.
Oh have I had a week of it!!!!
The woodruff key wore away on the bottom pulley that goes onto the crank/bottom timing belt cog…
No probs I thought, WRONG! The bottom timing belt cog will not come off I’ve bent a dozen m5 threaded rods, broken a puller and it’s moved about 2 mm.
I’m at the end of my tether! I’m about ready to tow the pile of crap down to the river, but that would be littering!
That damn cog only needs to come off for 5 seconds, that’s all. Just so I can replace the key. It’s been over a week now and on top of this I drove 150 miles to be given the wrong bits by a land rover specialist whose name I will not mention till I’ve got my money back and I certainly wont be putting any of the stickers they gave me on My landy!!! Paddocks of Matlock are excellent by the way if you need bits.
If I can fix it ill love it again….but right now I’m ready to do something a lot more violating to it with a large grinder and post the bits to land rover in weekly instalments!
Jay.
Moan moan winge winge.

WWWWwweeeeeeeehhhheeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyy!!
I’m happy I love it again now....well nearly.
After much determination I got the timing cog off....children rejoiced in the streets!
Put it all back together started her up on the 1st turn of the key. After about 10 seconds it sounded like a bag o bolts so I switched it off and panic set in, I thought the timing belt had slipped. I had to take it all apart, check it was ok and it was perfect.
Put it all back together same again but I was brave and left it running this time and it evened out nicely.
BUT! Now the clutch (which was playing up a bit before), has completely gone now. Its something hydraulic I think but what?!?!
The peddle just goes to the floor, I’ve bled it thats as far as i got this eve.

JRdisco1 what’s up with yours then?
Jay
