Default issues with check engine. misfires and other

So i recently purchased an '01 Disco 2 and it has a check engine light on. Engine runs great, notice a little shudder (misfire i guess) when idling but nothing too rough. sounds fine. I checked the codes and i came up with a #1 cylinder misfire as well as a code for other random misfires, im assuming these are because of the number 1 misfire. I replaced just the number one plug to see if that would work but no joy. The other codes I got were for a 4th gear ratio, a vacuum leak, an o2 sensor and a rich/lean code... was wondering if replacing the o2 sensor and the wires along with the plugs might fix the problem or if this is something bigger and meaner. Any info would help thanks a bunch.

You should definitely do a tune up and see if it goes away. Plugs, wires, air filter ect.... look at mikes major service sticky.

Also your mass air flow sensor could be causing you some rich/lean issues. A vacuum leak could also cause some issues so you need to do a smoke test to find your vac leak.

If your going to replace a upstream o2 sensor you should replace both at same time for best results.
Check your front drive shaft to verify it has been replaced and is serviceable if not time to replace. Very bad when if fails and it give little to no warning. They just let go.

Yes you sure can and there was a guy just did a very nice write up on it. Yesterday so go to search bar at top of page and type in smoke test.
