IPod Kit options?

Looking to get an IPhone and want it to work on my head unit (stock). I have a 2003 Discovery HSE w/ navigation and six pack CD unit. Sent email to AB to see if kit would work.... Answer was no.

Need affordable options.... And advice.

Thanks

DiscoMike has a link in his signature for a company that add's a aux. input jack to the OEM head unit so you can plug in your iPhone.
Your other option is a aftermarket stereo, thats what I did.

GROM makes adapters that use cd-changer port, so you will not be able to use your CD-changer. This are not cheap, since you can get a head unit that can do all of this for the same price, but if you want to keep your factory unit, this is probably the best option:
Rover LandRover 99-05 USB Bluetooth iPod car interface adapter
I think you can also get AUX adapters on ebay for cheaper, but no control from stereo or steering wheel

Take a look at Blitsafe. Connector at the base charges and streams the audio. Replaces the CD connector on the back of radio hence the CD changer is now INOP.

+1 on the Grom interface.

I just did a write-up using the Grom for a custom-iPhone interface. Really like the adapter and its functionality. Check my posts if you're interested.

Motorola Roadster. Bluetooth to IPhone with FM broadcast to your radio. I use it for hands free dialing, speakerphone, Sirius XM App, Navagon App, etc. Works great.

I wired a USB connection into the light above the windshield so it's always charged. I threaded the connection through the shelf above the visor. Clean as a whistle.
