Its finally Come... Oil Pump!

YAY I LOVE MY LAND ROVER!!!@!@!@!@
*sarcasm*
Pulling out of the boat launch this morning the red oil light came on and it started knocking. I shut of the car within seconds, and called the shop. I told them not to start it, threw it in neutral and watched my problems bounce down lake drive on a flat bed. Or at least I thought, I was still stranded with the boat. After calling parents for help I decided to sit in the boat that was parked on the side of the road. I hop in and twist my ankle, and it immediately swells. Plus I have barley any money, so the repair will be on the card.

I hoping for just a oil pump, however if its the engine it will have to be sold or scrapped for parts... I still owe $4k on it...

Im sorry to hear for your loss.

I thought you were going to say you put it in neutral and pushed it into the water..

Should'a let it roll into the lake with the boat and taken the insurance claim.

Spike555 06-28-2010 12:48 PM

You cant get what you owe.
'03 with a blown engine, $2k whole, $5k if you part it out.

You could replace the engine for around $2k.

Keep in mind that you do not have to stay with the 4.6 but you do need to stick with SAI if you have it.
