Jumper Seat.

I saw a 95 discover in the junk yard and I was wondering if the jumper seat would fit my 98 Discover. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks in advance.

Usually the Disco's come with a different floor and other items to all the fitting of the extra seats, that is what you are going to need to look at first.

The older Jump seats swing and I don't think they latch to the floor whereas the newer ones (I actually think 98 was the first year for it) the seats stored straight folded on the sides and latch on the floor. I don't think it would fit but I may be wrong.

RE: Jumper Seat.

I have a 98 Disco I and I took the seats out of a 96 Disco I and they fit just fine. What you need to make sure is if the donor vehicle is an SE7 or an SD7. The SE7 which is what I got mine out of has rear AC and the unit fits behind the drivers side jump seat. I am in the provess of moving the AC unit over and have already noved all the ducting for the rear AC. You will also need some of the rear interior panels since they are fidderent from the 5 seat version. You will need fewer panels if the doner is an SD7. I found that all the bold holes and wiring existed in the vehicles so there is no smecial work needed besides regular wrenching. I hope this info helps.
