Please help!!! I am totally locked out of my discoII 03, all doors are locked and will not open with key or FOB. I reached in and pulled the cable for the hood and found out my battery had a dead cell, I have since replaced the battery with a new one, I also replaced the battery in the FOB. still not unlocking the key won't even go all the way in the driver's side door. I don't know what else to do...

it could be in Super lock, i think you have to put the key in and unlock it 4 or 5 times to reset it. i should be in your manual or rave

Do you have any power to the vehicle, like head lights?
Lock and unlock the doors 3 times and also reset the enerita switch and see what happens.

Hi DiscoMike,

I cant turn the key on the door, I am not sure what the enerita switch is. I rec'd a call last night from lr2001silver and he said that i wasn't in superlock because I can still arm and disarm the alarm, so he had me check the fuses adn relays under the hood all seem ok except a 40 amp for fan #9 I think. I have a 3" opening (left open) in my dr. side window and have been trying to grab the latch to open twice to trigger lock I can't so I have a second locksmith coming with a slim Jim to try and ope silver told me that this may work since I can disarm and turn of the red LED on dash

Try a stick, thru the window and push the dash button, it's easier.

Thanks DiscoMike,

I tried that before with the old battery, maybe it didn't work because the old battery had a bad cell and not enough juice?

Dead cell will do funny things, try with new fully charged battery.

Okay so I spoke with kevman and its a issue where if he pressed the lock button on the key remote twice his truck arms super lock mode as normal but when he pressed the unlock button his turn signals illuminate as normal and the red led stops rapid "super lock" flash but none of the doors unlock. So the alarm is responding to the remote just the door locks are non responsive. maybe blown fuse not sure but he can not access the passenger fuse panel to check. So since he can essentially turn off the alarm with the remote he should be able to get a hook or wire on the interior door handle and pull open 1 time will mechanically push the lock up then he can access the interior fuse panel and locate problem.

His driver door key access is damaged and he can not get his key in the door lock.
His window was left down a 1/4 of a inch!!
Not sure why the locks stopped responding to the remote but it would seem very rare if they all failed at same time.
