Key Fob Program
 

98 D1 OBDII. 2 button fob.

Hi all,

My friend went out and simply put a new battery in his Fob, and now of course it doesn't work. We thought we found the procedure for resetting it but we think it was missing a step. The one we tried had us doing an eight second procedure using the key back and forth and holding the hood button down.

If anyone has the right procedure, that would be a great help. Or any help in general would be great.

Oh yea, we checked the battery and tested it with the tester at the store.

Sorry I didn't see the other thread when I posted mine.

I will look at both if anyone has any ideas.
