Leaning 94 discovery

Hi Gang,

New to the forum and really enjoy reading all the good stuff. I have a 94 land rover disco that I recently purchased and have been fixing all kinds of problems, but one that I am unsure about is that the right side (passenger) of my disco leans about 2 1/2. I have replaced all the shocks that were completely shot and collasping on their own when I pulled them out. I have installed some spacers between the coil springs to raise up to the correct leve. My question is....should I suspect that the coil springs on the right side are weak? Is this possible to only have one side week? If they are week, would it be that much of a drop? Any info would be most appreciated. I have another problem with cruise but will do a search first.

Thanks,

Shallowrunner.

welcome to the group. the spring problem sounds right to me. The spacers will level but they will also place additional burden on the rest of the spring. The cruise is common when the vaccum lines get old. they crack/break. takes about 4 ft of hose to replace the three, costs a couple of bucks. that takes care of about 90% of the cruise control. There is also a search here on parts resourses. a nice thing to have. don't forget about ebay. they have some good stuff often. again welcome to the forum. hope it helps. gotta love a rover. duboff
