Jared,

Sounds like a great deal on an LED spot lamp. I am looking for some myself to install in the next few months.

I learnt from my experience of using LEDs for cycling is they tend tend to run very hot. The cooling design features of the lamp is a key factor towards the reliability of the unit. The better LED units are designed with copious amounts of cool fins to help dissipate heat, particularly with CNC'd bodies. Regarding LED floodlamps, they are typically used when the vehicle is not moving (as opposed to LED driving lamps which receives additional cooling benefit as the vehicle is moving).

I would love to hear about your observations on this lamp with regard to the heat. It is a great price point for LEDs.

awesome write up! need some night shots.

You might think about adjusting the outer lights to face out a little more. It will give you a wider field of view at night. Since these are only 30 degree spots. Did you use spots or floods on the back?

Nice write up. I may to go the LED route now. Clean install.

Sorry about that. It wouldn't open on my phone earlier and typically instructions aren't as detailed as I now see his are.

Great job with the write up too Jared! You may have just sold some more lights for him! Please keep us posted on how they hold up for you.

very nice write up indeed, I really like the LEDS

they have some nice 20-28 inch ones I'm hoping will fit on my TF bumper,
the one down side it there is no place on the TF bumper for lights
