Default Need an obscure part...any ideas

Replacing my exhaust from the heads back on my 96. Im putting headers on and need to substitute the DII knock sensor for the DI to make sufficient room. Does anyone happen to have the stud that the DII sensor attaches to? Thanks in advance.

I dont have that specific part, but your best bet for something like that is to contact someone who is parting out a dead Disco. Check Craigslist and your local auto scrapyard.

You will have to make sure the threads are correct.

You need to show your girl friend that a bung can be properly screwed? Come on man--this is a family friendly forum. Keep it clean.
Sarcasm flag! I was just kidding that was a quality joke!

Bung and cap/plug are both 100% stainless steel

I did not notice that. Here is a place that has mild steel.

I must be missing something, but I swear the OP asked about the stud for the knock sensor?

I don't have the #, but I would take the old sensor and get a matching bolt to replace it. I would suggest thread lock on it. You will also need to file the connector to fit it to a D1 harness...
