Default need your thoughts

I am getting stumped on this one. I am getting a vibration around 2500RPM. Does it in every gear, at any speed, and in neutral. The harder I push, the more she shakes. I can let off and it will go away (almost).

My next step is to remove the belt and run it down the street (cold engine obviously) just to make sure my PS pump or something isn't about to take a dump.

I have new plugs and wires, induction and t-body cleaning, ATF flush, 44K in the tank 2 times in the last year... I can't hear a cut out in the exhaust ( resonator removed ), so I am getting a little stumped here.... Engine is nice and quiet with no leaks...=)

any thoughts?

I won't attempt a guess, but this looks like a cool website. http://www.vibratesoftware.com/html_...ed_Related.htm

Seems like a good idea taking the belt off.

cool site.

I guess I just need to get the time to take the belt off. Hopefully it isn't freezing this weekend...

The vibration isn't too bad, but I like my vehicles to purr like kittens...

Doubt this is it given description, but it's possible. Check to be sure you don't have any loose or broken engine mounts.

Does it vibrate standing still with engine revved up to 2,500? If so, no need to drive it. Just remove belt and see. Sounds to me like a possibleignition issue (coil?). I once replaced a bunch of hardware like you did and it was a bad plug. I had to have that engine hooked to acomputer to get it figured out. That was the best $50 I spent on that vehicle. So, you might go back and double-check the wires, plugs and coil. Hope you find it right away.

Just doesn't hit as hard on idle. You can really feel it under load. Oh, and don't feel too bad for me, everything I have replaced so far has been needed, unfortunately. I haven't thrown any parts at it, other than a used MAF I got for $30 on E-bay. I figured it wouldn't hurt to have a spare.

A coil can do that. My sister had it happen on her Nissan. The coils were prone to failure on those cars at a certain mileage. Just a thought.

More vibration as you give more gas while on load huh?Vibration disappears as you let the load off? I bet it has something to do with the torque converter or something around there.
