New caliper now dragging
My left rear caliper started to drag and I replaced it in May with new pads, fluids, hardware etc. chalking it up to unknown how old the thing was, probably original 2000 vintage. Got a replacement from Rock Auto and now the exact same caliper is dragging again. I noticed that while turning the problems are exaggerated... could something else be causing the calipers to go bad? I checked the brake line to see if it was cought on the suspension or body or something but all looks good visiually.
Just bad luck on the replacement part and a coincidence?

All my calipers were replaced. The one got at Riley's autoparts happened to drag in less than a year. They took it back and refunded, on their policy of 'lifetime' warranty.
I suspect is poor workmanship when refurbishing. Now all mine are from "ACDelco" refurbisher and have not failed -yet- in ~2 years.
Try to claim replacement/refund warranty from vendor, and check for wheel bearings health.

AB called me back they are gunna send me a new caliper n pads... I'm dropping it off tomorrow back at the garage. I don't have a jack tall enough right now to get it off the air to get the tire off haha, my last one sprung a leak, left it outside by accident for a week and forgot about it, rusted up and guess that was the last straw for it... not bad for a $30 bargin bin jack that lasted a good 15 years.
