Here's the passenger side head, side I had problems on. The most noticeable thing is that cylinders 2, 4, and 6 have valves that are brown. This is a stark contrast to the dull aluminum colored ones on #8 and the driver's side. Maybe this would lend to the theory of the manifold/head gasket leaking along these three?



Here's the driver's side head. There are X's on 3 and 7. After I brought it home I found them to leak water when the exhaust ports were filled up. Probably something I should have checked before taking them down there. Back to the machine shop it'll go tomorrow.

the #8 cylinder was steam cleaned by a head gasket leak, which is why the valve faces look different
