Think maybe I should soak the engin in some simple green and lightly power wash? What about putting dye in the oil then to try to track down the leak? I work in Hvac and use uv dye all the time to find refrigerant leaks

It’s a Land Rover, it’s going to leak oil.

Id probably pass on the parts truck, unless your new one is a total POS. You can do a lot of stuff to your current D2 with $800, just sayin.

I'm a new Land Rover owner, but as I understand it, the oil spots in the driveway are just the D2's way of marking it's territory. My dogs do it all the time in the back yard, so it kind of feels right that the car takes care of it in the driveway...

If it's not leaking, it's empty.
