New tires

Hello! I currently have General Grabbers AT2 255/70R16's They looked great but were noisy and I don't do much off-roading. I want to change to Continental Terrain Contact A/T's but they come in 265/70R16's I did lift the vehicle 2" and still has factory bumpers. I would like opinions on the tires and the new size 265/70R16 and the Continentals also come in 245/70R16 I am looking for a quiet, fuel efficient A/T tire. I've also seen the Hankook Dynapro 2, Toyo Open Country A/T III, Cooper Discoverer A/T All Season

i would really ally appreciate your opinions

like me it made no sense to run around town with mud tires for the 2-3 times a year I would off road
why not grab some rims and throw on some all season tires for the daily driving ?
I bet you can find Decent tires in your local classifieds rims are cheap

Thanks, which tires do you have on yours?

I had many different tires. The Firestone a/t are my favorite. Low road noise. Good off road.

265/70R16 should fit with no rubbing on a 2” lift with factory bumpers. If your springs sagged at all you may need to trim.

I have the Pirelli Scorpion A/T Plus. They ride good for an A/T and have excellent off road traction. I think the BFG is a better all around tire, but I’ve been happy with these. I can’t imagine they’re more than 1-2 mpg or so less fuel efficient that all seasons around town.

I totally get that some folks would rather save a few mpg’s by running around town on all seasons but for me part of daily driving a Disco is the look, and boy do they look better on an off road tire.
