No heat?

1999 Discovery II

My heat is luke warm. I tried releasing the air in the coolant system, because I did have some air issues (I could hear it behind the dash) and that fixed the dash issue but I still have no heat.

Any ideas?

You are low on coolant.

hmmm... the coolant reservoir is at the full mark. I just took a 300 mile trip as well and I didn't lose any coolant... I wouldn't think I am low on coolant.

Check to see if you have a blockage in your heater hoses?

You have a D2, the coolant circulates through the heater core all the time. You must be sure you have the coolant jug at normal level. Dampers control air flow through heater core, and your regular heater fan has to work, or you just get light air flow through outside air intake. When you use defrost or AC does fan blow hard?

If fan not running, fuses or resistor pack.

If fan is running, suspect control cable or flaps.
