Default O2 sensor connector broken...

Bought an 04 Discovery 2 that had a CEL for an O2 sensor not reading. Found out the drivers side O2s connector is damaged on the engine harness side, and needs replaced. So I am wondering if any of the folks here have run into that before, were you able to find a connector to replace it with? I'd also welcome whatever other help anyone felt like offering? I'm in the Denver area, Aurora specifically, kinda in a jamb here, as I sold my only other car to buy this, and I was planning for this to be my daily driver, now I'm stranded, maybe that was a bad idea...

You can buy a harness extension and cut it to fit what you need. I believe Honda shared the same connector for a certain age range but I don't remember off hand what that was. However soldering it together could prove difficult. Look up Roadside Werx in Englewood and they might be able to help you out. Probably a good idea to get to know those guys anyways....I pretty much buy all my parts from them these days and don't bother with online orders if I can help it.

Also, the car will run just fine with O2 sensor issues. Now passing emissions is a different story but if the only codes thrown relate to the O2 sensors you're gonna be fine to drive it.

Thanks man, I think I found the Honda extensions you were talking about, on Amazon
Amazon Amazon
, went ahead and ordered one, hoping it'd be right. If it is, then I should be able to splice it back together. And Thanks as well for the shop reference, I'm betting that's gonna come in handy

For sure, they are good people and the two techs there are who I wheel with the most often. They have almost every part you could ever need stashed somewhere. Plus it's always fun to see what's next in the build queue.

I just recently used that exact extension in an '01 D2. Mine crumbled in my hand when taking the sensors out and wired this in. worked great and gave me a little extra wiring to access it more easily down the road.

if my memory serve me right, the downstream o2 connector on the o2 sensor plugs into the the upstream o2 connector, i think i ran into this before, i had a few bad wires on my o2 engine harness before the catalytic convertor and i had a old o2 rear sensor lying around and i think they plugged right in
