True story. I needed a sensor for my sister's Honda Accord and OEM was too expensive, and I didn't know about amazon at the time, so I bought a Bosch, and it was an NTK and the exact OEM part that I took off. It was a fairly new sensor, one of the wide band style for a U-LEV engine, I'm guessing Bosch didn't have anything of their own that was compatible.

I'm not sure what brand the OEM sensor of a D2 are, but I'm thinking they are Bosch.... the Bosch OE style replacement sensors look identical, even down to the Land Rover part number that is etched into them, the color of the connector, and the length of the pigtail. I've bought the 15175 that jfall linked to.

NTK made the genuine ones in my D1.
I suspect Land Rover gets based on the best bid.
I've been using NTK for 10 years at least, no issues whatsoever. Bosch, NTK, Denso, they all are fine.
Just because it's genuine doesn't make it better. Take genuine oil filters for example.

I'm not saying genuine is better in this instance, I was just answering Jafir's pondering.

Looks like the Bosch are a few dollars less than the NTK at the moment, so those would be the ones to go with.
Sometimes NTK is cheaper, in which case NTK would be the ones to go with.

Side note, you might get different prices depending on what browser user agent you use.

Seriously? I always thought amazon was full of crap. I'm going to start using a custom agent so that they think I'm still using windows 98 and that I don't have enough money to pay higher prices.

I've seen where the say there are ONLY 2 left of a certain item, and a friend ordered 2, and then magically they've got 10 left.

It's now a common thing on web ordering. More common on travel sites, but can be done anywhere.

So I didn't really get to the bottom of this...which ones are best?

I did find some on Amazon - are these right? - Bosch 15175 Oxygen Sensor, OE Type Fitment -
Amazon.com: Bosch 15175 Oxygen Sensor, OE Type Fitment: Automotive Amazon.com: Bosch 15175 Oxygen Sensor, OE Type Fitment: Automotive
- $53 each

also, AB now has a kit - looks like four of the $69 ones - Oxygen Sensor Kit - Land Rover Discovery 2 - $260

I don't get the huge price difference between the two at AB - the cheaper ones are closer to the Bosch price from Amazon but people tell me the genuine ones are Bosch and the "genuine" ones on AB are the expensive ones...??

Can someone tell me the brand/model of the good ones or which ones of these are best...?

Thanks!!
