Odd grinding noise when trying to start.

I have a question. I have a 2002 Land Rover Disco 2 and I've been fixing things that needed to be fixed for a while and just changed all four O2 sensors.
It was overheating, bubbling over recently so I put in a new thermostat.
I was going to bleed the system and be ready to get it back on the road when it made this noise!
Any ideas welcome.
