Default Oil pan removal

Hi all, so I'm removing the oil pan at home and I'm trying to see if anyone has tips on how to remove the oil pan? No I don't any tips on how to pull out from underneath the vehicle more like it's stuck and I don't know how to peel it off the engine. I tried to pry it off with what little room I had using a flat head but to no avail it's still stuck. Please and thank you.

are you sure you got all the bolts? It shouldn't take much effort for it to drop once all the bolts are out. There are a lot of them and a couple more than Rave even shows if I remember correctly.

Mine practically fell on my head once loose. Four bolts in the rear are sort of hidden but can be easily removed once located. They are in the horizontal plane up high. The highest two are hard to see at first. Other than that maybe someone RTV'd the crap out of it. With the proper rubber gasket no sealant is needed except four spots, two front and two rear. Rubber mallet until loose.

Yeah you know what I didn't triple check for hidden bolts, I just got the 6 bolts that bolted on to the transmission. It was 2 long ones and 4 shorter ones. I'll check out the rave manual here in a bit. I want to deep clean the pan like I'm doing with valve covers. I'll post before and after pics.

Sounds like you found all of the bolts. My guess now is they glued it on. I think many soft blows with a rubber mallet or dead blow will be next. I would be carefull prying anything.
