Oil Separator??

Thanks to this thread I just cleaned out the oil seperator on my disco. The suggestion to use a pair of vise grips helped a lot to prevent me from ruining the little plastic part.

I wish I would have taken pictures but after about 15 minutes of careful wiggling I was able to get mine out in one piece. The bottom two open sections were completely clogged with solidified oil. While I can't say the disco runs noticeably better I'm sure the PCV system is functioning better now that air can actually pass by the oil separator.

I sure hope so. I can always tell where I've parked by the drops of every type of fluid possible from the Disco.

Hi everyone have not been on in awhile went through an engine due to a clogged seperator bummer. Just rebuilt the 4.0 with high hats and I change the seperator every 30k now. All these comments have saved me so much money and thanks to Mike
