LR3s have their issues...they're just more complicated. Better power??? Not with the V6 hauling 800lbs more! Interior fit/finish on my 04 DII is superb (albeit the LR3's is better) & very little road noise. And if my disco had air suspension, I'd convert it. Lived in AK and the bags shattered due to the extreme cold...rode home on the axles & lost my fillings!

 

I believe so, but only the LR3 with the HD package has a rear locking diff.

 

What was this offer? Or deal you speak of?

 

Either trade the owner my 04 Disco plus cash payments for the remainder balance or sell my Disco elsewhere for $9000 and buy the LR3. But so far Ive only inquired as to why the seller is selling the vehicle and why for so little. Still waiting for a response. Nothing worth getting my hopes up for in any event.

Gotta focus on getting those dam tie rods before their completely sold out at Luck8! If they sell out before next Thursday Im screwed unless I can find them elsewhere

 

How hard are these to find? I am getting ready to order the parts to build my disco, but the agreement was I would find a suitable replacement for my wife as a daily driver. This is her 3rd LR, so she doesn't want anything else. I am looking for an LR3 for her now and the HD sounds like just what she needs...
