Open Loop on Deceleration

Have a small problem on a motor recently installed. I notice on my scan gauge a shift to open loop when decelerating at highway speed.

Any ideas? I was thinking maybe a vacuum leak or something.

Nope, open-loop on deceleration is perfectly normal and expected. Open loop also kicks in under full acceleration.

Normal

Agreed, it's shutting off fuel injectors on deceleration. No worries.

That's what I read on a Toyota forum but the odd thing is that my other 3 discos don't do it. Are you guys running Ultra Gauges and show this?

I am running an UG. Had one on a 2008 Jeep as well, did the exact same thing on deceleration.

UltraGauge

Same thing using UG

Bummer, now instead of having something wrong with one rover...you have something wrong with the three others...lol.

Brian.
