ordered from forum member who isn't responding

Purchased something from a forum member who isn't responding to emails or PM's. Items haven't been received, were ordered and supposedly shipped out more than 2 weeks ago. I used to Paypal, however to avoid them having to pay costs, sent as friend/ family member. Any advice on how to resolve?

Expose them. If it's a mistake they will respond on the forum.

If they are a scam artist you will save others.

Wait, only if it's not me...

Expose him, help other members and make them alert not to order from this person. You are not doing anything bad and if you loose your money(let's hope that is not the case) at the very least it will prevent from scamming someone else.

I looked for the recipt on the mats. i have issued a refund back via pay pal. No scamming going on here.

Well I think I finally got their attention, they just refunded the full amount.

Additionally, if you pay by Paypal you are protected for 6 months from fraud/ non received items. I've been an eBay Power seller since 1997. That seems a little to long from from the sellers prospective, but you are covered. Basically the seller must provide tracking confirmation to show the item was shipped and delivered.

You might have missed the part where he sent funds as a friend, not a purchase.

I looked into that, only way to dispute would've been to say fraud on my end. Was frustrating not knowing where item is or why they wouldn't communicate.. Oh well, money has been refunded. Time to look for a Mantec Snorkel.

Amazing how con artists soon respond to exposure or pressure. Well done, good luck :)
