P Codes -P0300 P0308 P1412 P1415

Getting these codes on my disco P0300 P0308 P1412 P1415. Oil pump failed on original engine. Installed a new used motor and I get these SAI codes now. Also the misfire codes only come on with the SAI codes. Drives perfect just throws the codes every few starts.

Here is what I have done and checked so far.

1.) ground the trigger wire from the ecu to the fuse box to activate the relay for the sai pump. Pump turns on and sounds good.
2.) checked all vacuum lines for proper routing and leaks
3.) removed solenoid and used 12 volts to activate it and it triggers.
4.) both sai control valves move using a vacuum pump to trigger movement

I can hear the SAI pump go up correctly but I'm guessing something is stopping the vacuum from reaching the valves to open them.

Could the solenoid be bad even though it "clicks" and seems to switch?
Is there a good way to test the wires for the solenoid to see if there is a line break or lack of power to the solenoid?
Other thing I read about is a bad vacuum canister. Is bypassing it a good troubleshooting option?

Thanks

Your SAI has a leak for both banks that needs to be found, read the Rave CD to find out how to test for the 2 1400 codes.
Did you install new plugs and wires, if so what brand?

check the SAI line to the Y pipe is OK.
Check the vacuum lines from the SAI pipes - left and right - go to the vacuum switch or that cylinder reservoir

Check that the plastic cylnder reservoir has vacuum feeding it too..

Vacuum is used to turn off / on the air flow for the SAI when the pump is running.

My SAI pipe was cracked. I added rubber and now OK.

Nope no new plugs or wires. The miss code only comes up when the SAI fails. Could be coincedence or perhaps not.

Quick question on the SAI solenoid. When we had it off to check it if I blew in the inlet it passes out the back of the solenoid???? Seems like a vacuum leak to me. The solenoid did switch over and pass through to the outlet port though.

The one SAI line from the pump did break and was replaced with heater hose which sounds like it should be fine. I have a really good idea of how the whole system works and each component when tested seems to be fine.

From the codes it has to be something in common with both sides.

I have done all the testing that I can do without a Testbook and it seems every component individually works just not all together.
