Parking sensor diagnosis

So my parking sensors have stopped working at some point in time between me buying the car 4 months ago(and it sitting during the engine rebuild) and now that it is running.

In reverse, the indicator light on the parking sensor switch flashes steadily, I'm assuming indicating an issue and I get no output of noise or other indication that the system is working.

I don't see any functions in my autologic to monitor sensors or perform an actuation test... I'm assuming I have a bad sensor, but how do I go about checking them?? change them all and hope that does it?

Any ideas?

The steady flash shows it is on, how do you know it is not working? How have you tested for the noise? Did you look at the Rave wiring diagram? My guess is they are wired parallel, not series. If so, one failure would not cause system failure.

Well, it's not working based on the lack of beeping as i get inches from the wall I back up to park next to! I had assumed flashing indicates a fault/ non operation. Seems counterintuitive to flash for proper function

From the Rave:

"If a fault exists in the PDC system, the ECU flashes the LED continuously, when the switch is pressed to activate the system."

So flashing light indicates a problem, as i said. Back to square one. Any idea on diagnostic flow for testing the system?
