Passenger side air blows only hot
 

I bought this 01 Discovery II, 110K miles, 2 months ago. The driver side AC cools for about 5 minutes, then warms up. The passenger side only blows warm air. Anybody help with any ideas, I'm thinking its electrical and will start there if I don't hear back. Its getting hot in Florida now and sure hope to get it fixed :cool: Thanks! Garry

Here's a starting point: download Rave (the DII worksop manual) and start at section 80-1 (page 1158). It goes through the heating and ac system in cab and gives you some tests to try.

It sounds like the blend doors aren't operating properly. You may also have an AC system issue (can you hear the AC pump cycling on and off rapidly)?

Give that a read through so you have some basic information and ask questions on that.
