pics of sound systems?
 

does any one have an aftermarket sound system in there disco and pics of it. i want to put one in but would like some ideas

I have a new head unit ordered and will be installing that when I get home. Going to leave the stock speakers and amps for now. Changing it out so I have a deck that will control both my satellite radio and my ipod. Can't live without my tunes, even in the middle of no where. Soon as I get the new deck installed I'll post pics.

i will be installing a new head unit this weekend in my d1... as soon as i get an appropriate box my two tens and 2000 watt amps will be in too...

The Radio in my disco was replaced before I purchased. The good thing is.......... I have sat raidio that I installed with FM over ride unit.
The bad thing is no redundant controls on steering wheel, no use of rear head phone jacks, and the sub was blown when I got the truck.
P.S. I took out rear sub and siliconed the speakers.

i saw a pic of a custom box that i would like to have put in my d2 but the guy says that it cost like 2500 for them to build the box and put the system in his car am not looking to spend that much money does any one have a sub box in there d2 that dosnt take up much cargo room?

crutchfield.com has vehicle specific boxes that mount the subs out of the way in ways that make it hardly noticeable that they are even subs in the vehicle...

Here is my 2000 LR d2, It is not a custom installation.

Kenwood CD player with remote - If you are buying a new deck get a remote I use it constanly.

MTX 2300 amp - bridged 2 channels into 1 750 watts, with remote bass knob mounted by window switchesGreat sub amp for cheap on ebay, clean sound

Orion 12- takes a beating , rubber surrounds

Stock door speakers running off deck power sounds good

nice were did you get the knob? i want to build a custom box to fit into the same place were you mounted the amp
