Default PO141

Just lookng through the service manual I only see one O2 sensor, the Heated O2 Sensor, the OBDII code says Bank 1 Sensor 2 though, just want to confirm it's the obvious one before I order a new one.

How many miles on your truck, if you are approaching 100,000 miles then you want to buy all fourto get the full benefit of the 02's performance. Atlantic British has them on sale right now for $59.

Nowhere near, only 60K KM. I am finding most of the 100K KM service items needed doing though, harsh environment wear I suppose. I've done too much work this month though, I can probably fix the one bad one but not doing any more until Oct/Nov at least.

Changed mine last febuary. Ottawa Land Rover sells them for about $80.00 each. I'm trying to stay as away as possible from the dealer, but for critical parts like this, I felt more comfortable getting the o.e.m ones.

So yours would be the rear sensor. Make sure you get one for the rear, cause the front ones have shorter wiring that won't reach the plug-in.

I'm assuming there are two rear sensors? Any idea which is which? It's probably in the service manual somewhere, but I haven't found it yet.

Yep, 2 fronts before each cats, and 2 rearsafter each cats. 90% sure that bank 1 is the driver's side, and 100% sure that sensor 2 is the second one in the line, thus the aft cat one. Mine had both failed at the same time, so I had gotten bank1 sensor 2 and bank 2 sensor 2. The later, if I remember right was P0161. So by changing both I couldn't get them wrong. All this because I had the brilliant idea of trying Acetone in the gas. 10 kms later, they were cooked.

OK, thanks. I'm ust going to replace things as they fail for now since I'm probably doing a block-back exhaust upgrade next year anyway.
